We hear the rain falling. Thunder rumbles in the distance. Then suddenly...

BRILLIANT FLASH OF LIGHTNING...

EXT. STREET - NIGHT

We catch a glimpse of a row of rundown warehouses and office buildings.

EXT/INT. WAREHOUSE - NIGHT

A heavy bay door rattles open revealing two shady-looking middle-aged men, one tall and lean CHARLIE, and the other short and fat, HARVEY.

Harvey is holding a metallic briefcase. Charlie reaches inside his coat and pulls out a fat envelope full of money and offers it to Harvey.

CHARLIE

Let's get this over with.

Harvey takes the money and then offers Charlie the briefcase.

HARVEY

Take it.

Charlie looks down at the briefcase like it's a ticking time bomb. This is a mistake. I shouldn't be doing this. I'm going to die here tonight.

HARVEY

(Sings the Cornelius Brothers)

It's too late to turn back now.

Harvey laughs and shakes the briefcase in front of him. Charlie snatches the briefcase from Harvey then steps out into the rain and hurries up the block.

Harvey watches him for a moment still amused, then steps out into the rain and walks in the opposite direction.

EXT. ROOF TOP - NIGHT

A lone SHOOTER wearing a black ski mask, and black tactical gear is laying prone behind a sniper rifle looking through a night vision scope at Harvey and Charlie.

The scope moves from one man to the other and then focuses on Harvey. The shooter flicks off the safety and slides a finger into the trigger guard then pulls the trigger.
